OHS Internal Audits

OHS & Workers Compensation conduct regular internal OHS Audits as part of the University's workers compensation self insurer license requirements. The purpose of the audits are:

  • To audit the implementation of the UNSW OHS Management System (OHSMS) by Faculties/Schools/Units.
  • To monitor that Faculties/Schools/Units are meeting the requirements of the WorkCover OHS Self-Insurer Model 2005, which has 13 elements.
  • To identify gaps in the local and corporate OHS management system development and implementation and raise the level of awareness and action.
