Skills and Competencies

Structured OHS training ensures that staff receive appropriate and relevant OHS information, instruction and supervision. The NSW OHS Regulation 2001 states that employers must ensure that employees are provided with any information, instruction and supervision necessary to ensure the persons health and safety.

OHS & Workers Compensation has developed an OHS training guide to assist Managers with the identification of OHS training requirements for their staff. The Guide details the OHS training recommended for each job category.
